Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir – Recruitment promo

I was contacted around Easter and a meeting was set-up with three members of the LOMVC committee to establish what was required. It was agreed that in the main, there would be one point of contact from LOMVC, Neil Frost. Subsequently Neil and his colleagues produced a draft script which I was then able to mould into a shooting plan and final programme.

First filming session was a Vox Pop and rehearsal session,  followed by a live concert where more Vox Pops were filmed and finally an hour on a Saturday morning, with qualified Drone Pilot, Dave Bass to get the aerial shots for the opening sequence and which are also used on the LOMVC website. Editing was mainly done with Neil present and online review edits done for any minor amendments as we progressed to the final edit.

I was delighted to receive an email from Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir Chairman Martin Wood, “We are delighted with the final outcome of the video which was shown to the entire choir at our rehearsal on Friday evening. ***2021 Update***
With a change of Chairman and a mention of how the choir dealt with Covid during lockdown required, it was decided to update the earlier promo. As the whole project was archived, it just required a short piece of filming on a sunny spring morning, with Michael Jacks the new chairman, in his garden and then post production incorporating Zoom recorded rehearsal footage, a virtual concert and updating graphics and contact details.
